Little did I know, I’d be heading to New Zealand to visit one of my best friends in the whole world. Ironically, Roscoe reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in planning a Roady.

He rented us a car in New Zealand, where we just had to show up and grab the keys. He planned our entire road trip along the North Island of New Zealand, providing an extensive list of must-sees, eats, and dos. Our accommodation was booked through him as well.

The concept is genius, and not to mention completely hassle free. AND THE BEST PART- Totally affordable!!! It didn’t feel super touristy either, an aspect that I loved. 

Katie and I started off just taking little videos here and there to get cool pictures and show our families, but I made a little compilation of our trip in this video. It’s nothing spectacular as I have absolutely NO experience in video editing (and most were just saved from various Snapchats lol), but it was fun to reminisce while I made it nonetheless 🙂 Plus there’s some fun footage of my skydiving experience at the end!! Raglan was one of the most laid back places I’ve ever been to. Our days included waking up at our hostel (where we stayed in little huts and made dinner in the shared kitchen), checking out the local surf shops and surf spots, drinking delicious coffee from Raglan Roast, and driving through the mountains looking for the next spot to pull over and take some pictures.

Waitomo was also really dope. We hiked through a couple forests in search of glow worms, but we couldn’t make it past sitting in a cave full of spiders long enough to see them in full effect. Unfortunate, I know.
